Dwight Evans And Mike Aviles At August 31st Luncheon - Red Sox legend Dwight Evans and newcomer Mike Aviles addressed members at the August 31st BoSox Club luncheon at the Waltham Westin. Dewey recounted his memories of both the 1975 and 1986 World Series—divulging that he has yet to watch any highlight films of the latter. Mike Aviles—who came over in a trade from Kansas City at the deadline—is thrilled to have a real opportunity at a ring. He talked about his impressive rise from Division 2 college ball through the minors to the bigs.
